2988147 - You are Unable to select Open Purchase Request when you use Group By Filter

When you select the view "Open Purchase Requests" and group them by certain criteria, then try to select few line items together, you are not able to select them together.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Select view: Purchase Requests
3. Select Open Purchase Requests
4. Select "Group By"(e.g select criteria Supplier ID)
5. Select few line items
6. You are unable to select them together

The group by functionality is used to group the documents based on the group by criteria used.

e.g. "Group By Supplier ID" means that purchase requests with same supplier id will be grouped together.

Hence line items  are grouped together in the system automatically which fulfill the criteria when we select this group by option.

The line items which you are trying to select yourself do not meet the group by criteria, hence you are unable to select them together.

You can select line items which meet the "Group By" criteria.
