Reproducing the Issue
1. Go to Recruiting and look for any attachment field that requires uploading of a file
2. Choose a file and try to upload it
3. Then you will receive the following error:
Cause
The error will appear if the file you are trying to upload does contain an active content such as Macro or OLE (Object Linking and Embedding).
Resolution
Active Content Blocking is an opt-in security feature to inspect and block file with active content embedded during file upload process. Since both Macros and OLE are possible threat on containing malwares and viruses then it will be blocked if any file got these contents.
To disable the "Active Content Blocking" feature, it will require engagement of Implementation Partner as they have access to Provisioning:
1. Go to Provisioning > Company Settings
2. Find Active Content Detection switch, uncheck it and save the setting
Note: Active Content Blocking is a universal feature and enabling/disabling it will not only affect Recruiting module but also other modules that has option on uploading attachments
