2988301 - Translation cannot be done automatically even if the translation option is triggered in SAC Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Metadata (descriptions and other text that you enter) for stories, models are not translated automatically even if the translation option is triggered in SAC Analytics Cloud

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

1. Login to SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Open one model that need to be translated.
3. Go to Model Preferences-->Language.
4. In Multi-Language Support area, click on Request Model Translation.
5. Click on Ok and Save the model.
6. Then go to Browse-->Translation, the model is displayed in the list.
7. Edit the model and found the text cannot be translated automatically.

• The behavior is by design.
• The option Request Model Translation is used for user to trigger the translation, once it is triggered, translator can find the model in translation list.
  The translation should be done by translator , SAC will not help translate automatically.

When the model translation is triggered, translator need to do the translation by themselves.
