2989089 - SNOTE fails in the shadow instance connecting to SAP support backbone : Could not receive HTTP for : COMM_FAILURE

Symptom

  • You are running an upgrade with SUM and in the shadow instance you need to download a note with SNOTE.
  • SNOTE is not locked by SUM in this phase but you get the following error when downloading a SAP Note:
    "Could not receive HTTP for: COMM_FAILURE"
  • SNOTE download functionality works without any problem in the normal instance.
