2989278 - Inbound Delivery Notification Shows Inconsistent But With no Error

Symptom

You create the Inbound Delivery Notification XXX using web service. It is created successfully in the system, however with status Inconsistent. When you open the Notification, no error is displayed.

XXX = Inbound Delivery Notification ID

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
  2. Select Inbound Delivery Notifications view.
  3. Find the Inbound Delivery Notification XXX.
  4. Open the Inbound Delivery Notification XXX.
  5. Click View All.
  6. Click Check Consistency.
  7. No error is displayed.

Cause

For the Inbound Delivery Notification line items, the Supplier ID is missing.

In the web service XML, you have used the <SellerPartyID> in the header of the message.

Resolution

You need to add <SellerPartyID> to every line item in the XML. So the Supplier ID will be fulfilled in the created Inbound Delivery Notification and it will be consistent.
