Symptom

A regular expression 'REGEXP' in 'delete' sql returns an error, whereas similar 'select' query works well.

(DBA)> delete from testa where cola REGEXP '.*efghi.*'

=> Error
Could not execute statement.
Update operation attempted on non-updatable remote query
SQLCODE=-728, ODBC 3 State="42000"
