2990150 - How to restore deleted candidate/activity - Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

  • A candidate or activity record is no longer visible in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 after being deleted. 

  • The candidate cannot be found when searching in the system. 

  • You need to recover or restore a deleted candidate or associated onboarding activities. 

  • The candidate record may appear missing, lost, or accidentally removed from Onboarding 1.0. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0. 

  2. Search for a candidate record that has been deleted.
     
  3. Observe that the candidate record is no longer visible in the standard candidate list. 

Cause

The candidate or activity record was manually deleted from SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 by an administrator or user. Deleted records are not permanently removed immediately and can be restored via the Super Admin. 

Resolution

To restore a deleted candidate in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0: 

  1. Navigate to Super Admin. 

  2. Select Manage HRData. 

  3. Filter the candidate record by name. 
  4. Select the Only Deleted option to display deleted records. 

  5. Click the candidate's name. 

  6. Click Restore to restore the candidate record.
