2990393 - Setup Work Schedule Rule for Casual Workers

Symptom

A company can have a type of employees – Casual Workers - who have no working pattern and are called in to work when required. They are paid when a timesheet entry is entered for them. Therefore, they have zero working days per week and no planned working time in Employee Central job information. But an IT7 record is required for payroll and a work schedule rule is needed, so these types of employees should be assigned a work schedule rule that has no hours.

The steps to enable the replication of casual workers are described in the implementation guide Employee Central Payroll using Point-to-Point Integration.

This KBA describes how to setup work schedule in EC payroll system for casual workers.
