2990406 - Item errors on quotes: "Item 10 contains errors"

When opening your quote, you see item errors on without full error definition: "Item 10 contains errors".

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work centre
2. Go to the Sales Quotes view
3. Open the relevant quote
4. Go to the Products facet

Result: error "Item 10 contains errors" shows for a line item (10, 20, etc.) but it is not clear what the error is/ means.

When it was created some master data inconsistency existed and quote item(s) 10 and 20 were marked as inconsistent.

Now the master data seems ok, the quote items are still inconsistent.

This is why the system indicates about the quote item consistency status without being able to provide a reason why.

The next time the quote will be updated e.g. by an integration message from the connected external system,

the consistency status will be recalculated and set accordingly.
