2990617 - "The Model (Planning) could not be copied" in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

When you try to copy a planning model, the following error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC):

• The Model (Planning) could not be copied.

This issue happens with some models only.

Even the model owner cannot copy the model.

In F12 -> network, you see one request with status 500. In the response part, the following message is shown:

• {"message":"dberror(PreparedStatement.executeBatch): 274 - inserted value too large for column: Failed in \"MESSAGE\" column with the value '[CID:9eef7f2d-9f7f-40c6-b819-c76e0a69a732] The dimension is used as the currency dimension of a model. Therefore in the following members, a currency is required: <member 1>, <member 2>, ...'","bUIMessage":false,"bWarning":false}],"status":500,"bUIMsg":false,"bWarning":false}

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.14.29

This model is using a dimension as the Dimension with Currency Property enabled. However, some of its members do not have a currency maintained.

Maintain currency for all members of the dimension with currency property enabled.
