2991731 - Today's Date Not Highlighting After Removing the Due Date on the Calendar Popup While Duplicating a Job Req - Recruiting Management

Symptom

According to the KBA 2984561, the today's date will be highlighted after you clear the due date information from the calendar popup while duplicating a Job Requisition however, you need to this twice in order to see the highlighted date.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Recruiting > Find a Job Requisition
  2. Put the mouse over the Job Requisition
  3. Click on Duplicate Job Requisition
  4. On the Due Date field, open the Calendar Popup
  5. Clear the existing due date
  6. Open the calendar again - The due date is still being highlight
  7. Close the calendar and open it again - Now the today's date is highlighted


Cause

This has been considered as an unexpected behavior.

Resolution

This has been analyzed by Software Engineering team and it will be fixed within 2105 H1 release.

UPDATE April-20th: The issue has not being completely fixed after H1 2021 release. The Calendar Popup is not setting the Today's Date as expected. Software Engineering team has already acknowledge this topic.
