2992328 - Error - Your e-Signature settings cannot be changed. Associating Business Rule for Custom User ID and Employee ID with ONB2Config Object - Onboarding

Symptom

  • Error received "Your e-Signature settings cannot be changed. Ensure that you have configured DocuSign e-Signature in Admin Centre. If the problem still persists contact SAP Cloud Support to enable DocuSign."
  • When trying to Associating Business Rule for Custom User ID and Employee ID with ONB2Config Object.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Manage Data
2. Select ONB2Config in first dropdown
3. DEFAULT_ONB2_CONFIG in the second dropdown
4. onb2UserIdGenRuleConfig dropdown, select the rule that you've created
5. Error received when you try to click save

Resolution

  1. In Provisioning >> Company Settings, enabled the Enable DocuSign Adaptor feature.
  2. In Admin Center >> Manage Permission Roles, granted Configure DocuSign eSignature admin permissions to role.
  3. In Admin Center >> Platform Feature Settings, disabled and enabled back the Enable SuccessFactors eSignature feature
