Symptom

  • An HTTP proxy exists between DPAgent and your could based HANA system (including SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA Service, and others)
  • While trying to test the JDBC connection between dpagent and HANA as described in manual, getting this error:
    "SQLException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:<HANA host>:443 [Data receive failed [null]."
  • Framework.trc with error:
    "JDBCConnector.makeConnection - com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:<HANA host>:443 [Data receive failed [null]."
