2993534 - Business Partner Bulk Web Service Replication Fails Due to One Erroneous BP

Symptom

  • Business Partner Bulk Web Service Replication Fails when there is a faulty Business Partner in the payload. 

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
  • SAP Marketing Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Replicate Business Partners e.g. from C4C to Marketing Cloud with a Bulk Request
  2. The system detects an erroneous Business Partner in the payload.
  3. None of the Business Partners in the bulk request are processed.

Cause

This is the behaviour of the standard system in the Cloud. If one Business Partner in the Payload fails then they all fail. This helps ensure data consistency such as ensuring that the relationships also get correctly created.

Resolution

  1. Amend the faulty BP
  2. Reprocess the Payload
