1. Navigate to Supply Planning Work Center
2. In Common tasks, Navigate to New planning proposal
3. Enter product id  as KLM Planning area id, Quantity, Availability Date
4. Select Save, Error appears

The quantity for By-Product:DEF in Production Model is in decimal places with l as UoM(Unit of Measure) and for By-Product CSMT314 master data, planning UoM is maintained as a different UoM as n with 0 quantity. Planning in Business by Design supports only 3 decimals places in Planning Unit of Measure (UoM).

You will have to maintain the quantity for By-Product DEF, such that it is within 3 decimal places of UoM.
