2994273 - [Error] Connect to database failed with sql error -10719 performing CON when ssfs is used

Symptom

  • Performed database refresh from PRD to QA
  • Using SSFs as indicated in trans.log

    • 4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] read_con_info_ssfs(): DBSL supports extended connect protocol
      4 ETW000 ==> connect info for default DB will be read from ssfs

  • Have not modified the SSFS paramter after refresh
  • When application server tries to connect QA system, encountered the following error message:

    4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] connect to <user>/<pwd>@ on connection 0 ...
    4 ETW000 [dbhdbsql.cpp,00000] *** ERROR => Connect to database failed, rc=1, rcSQL=-10719
    4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] SQLCODE : -10719
    4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] SQLERRTEXT : Connect failed (invalid SERVERNODE '')
    4 ETW000 [ dblink ,00000] ***LOG BY2=>sql error -10719 performing CON
    4 ETW000 [ dblink ,00000] ***LOG BY0=>Connect failed (invalid SERVERNODE '')
    2EETW169 no connect possible: "DBMS = HDB --- SERVER = '' PORT = ''"
