2994438 - /tmp full due to a large growing file with a prefix name crout - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • SQLs (including backup and restore commands) are executed in a cron job
  • A large file named with the prefix "crout" fills up /tmp 
  • This file is still created in /tmp after setting the environment variable SATMP or start IQ with -dt to redirect the temp directory to another location
  • File name examples: croutr73Meg or croutyE3Mnj
