2994466 - Error '"Create delivery" not allowed (Sys. Status Cost, object VB&)' (BS051) when creating an outbound delivery with reference to a sales order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When you create an outbound delivery with reference to a sales order the following error message is raised: "Create delivery" not allowed (Sys. Status Cost, object VB&) (Message no. BS051).

If 'Cost' status is within 'System status' of the sales order item, then to create delivery for this sales order is forbidden by design.

Go to the sales order and carry out costing for it. After that, the system status will be changed and the subsequent delivery can be created.
To have the costing done manually, follow the steps below:

1. Open the sales order via VA02.
2. Go to button 'Extras' in menu bar.
3. Click on the button 'Costing'.

For the following steps after above belongs to controlling area, the user can create an case under component CO-PC-OBJ if there is some issue.
