2994798 - The resource does not exist or you do not have permission to read it - People Analytics

• Some users are receiving the error message "The resource does not exist, or you do not have permission to read it" running a standard report in People Analytics
• The affected user is able to create and run his own Story reports

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Go to Report Center
2. Click Import
3. Select a standard Story report .acn file
4. Import
5. Try to run the report
6. A "Hello, User Name" SAC screen will appear
7. The error message "The resource does not exist, or you do not have permission to read it" will be displayed

User has been synced with wrong information in SAC/IAS and it's not matching with SuccessFactors e.g. Person GUID is not correct in SAC and IAS.

1. Check in IPS if both target systems SAC and IAS are enabled and correctly configured
2. Make sure that the user information (e.g. email) is unique in SuccessFactors
3. Run the IPS sync to correct the user information in SAC and IAS
