2996118 - AO: Error: The launcher exited with errors, see log file for more details

When launching a BPF Activity from the BPW Web client page while using the Google Chrome browser, the folowing error is displayed in Analysis for Office:

The launcher exited with errors, see log file for more details.

Addin returned an error. Check logfile of the addin!

Upon inspecting the Analysis for Office log and the Analysis for Office Launcher log files the following errors can be found:

Note that the error doesn't occur when the BPC Web page is being accessed with Internet Explorer.
