Symptom
The csh processes use a high amount of memory and CPU, for example:
server1:/home/xyzadm # ps aux | grep csh
xyzadm 31205 93.7 8.8 1467928 1458104 pts/1 S+ 09:37 1:18 -csh
The CPU load can be over 90% on the process, memory usage can increase over time to multiple GBs.
The issue only happens with the csh shells of a single user.
Logins of the user will take a very long time, over a minute in some cases.
