2996426 - Commentary service does not work when accessed via webi or lumira documents

Symptom

  • Commentary service does not work as adding comments to Web Intelligence reports fails with error "Comments Service: Database intialization failed"
  • Adaptive Processing start up server logs show the following:
    |EXCEPTION [Oracle OCI|Oracle 11|ID:475464197]com.sap.connectivity.cs.library.RDBMSJob{com.businessobjects.connectionserver.ProcedureJob}.Execute: [com.businessobjects.connectionserver.CSError: Non supported datatype]
  • Commentary is hosted on the audit database
  • Commentary works on the development environment but does not on production
