2996487 - No secret key found in specified key ring collection - Integration Center

Symptom

You have created a PGP key pair in Integration Center's Security Center. You created an inbound Integration Center job to decrypt the file that was encrypted using the PGP Public Key, but it is failing with this error below when executed:

Failed due to - Provided invalid keys for decrypting message with keys id <key_id> - No secret key found in specified key ring collection

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
    • Integration Center

Cause

Wrong key used in decryption.

Resolution

Please confirm if you are using the correct key to decrypt the file.

If you are sure that the key being used is the correct one and the issue persists, please consider creating a new key pair from scratch and using it instead.

Note that, when you create the key in Security Center, you are actually creating the key pair already. This means that you create the PGP key named as "key1", download its public key and use it to encrypt the file, and then in Integration Center inbound job you need to select the same "key1" to decrypt the file.
