Symptom

Team Absence Calendar does not show peer's absences

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time off

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Employee's Time off ESS UI
  2. Click on Team absence Calendar.
  3. Click on the 'peers' tab
  4. You'll notice that you are not able to view the leave applied by your peers(for the date the peer has applied a leave)

Cause

This is a configuration issue.

Resolution

Case 1

  • Check if the 'Employee Time' object is set as secured as 'Yes' in Configure Object Definition.
  • If yes, then the employee should have atleast one RBP permision role configured with the Employee Time 'view' permission and target population set as "Everyone"

Case 2

  • If the 'Employee Time' object is not secured (i.e secured as 'No' in configure object definition),
  • Make sure 'Access to non secured objects' permission is provided to the employee's RBP permission role.
