2997262 - National ID data not transferred over to Manage Pending Hires - Onboarding 2.0

Symptom

Your Hiring Manager / New hire has inserted values for National ID information during the New Hire Data Review / Personal Data Collection Steps, however, the field is blank in the Manage Pending Hires page.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP Successfactors Onboarding 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In New Hire Data Review / Personal Data Collection steps, include values for National ID Portlet;
  2. Complete all Onboarding steps;
  3. In Manage Pending Hires, open your New Hire record and check National ID portlet. Fields are blank

Cause

You have one or more business rules changing the values for National ID.

Resolution

Review your business rules related to National ID information and make sure that these rules are not affecting new hires coming from Onboarding. You can do that by disabling the business rules or by setting up a condition that will prevent the business rules to be triggered for Onboarding candidates.

You can refer to the screenshot below to see how to set up a condition that stops the business rules from being triggered for Onboarding candidates. Keep in mind that the second condition only checks if the user is an external candidate, so this rule will only be triggered for the PDC step and not for MPH. As a result, the specified value will be followed.
