2997769 - Error FAA_POST101 in AB08 (Reversal)

Symptom

  • While using the transaction AB08 for an asset retirement done wrongly before migration to SAP S/4HANA, you want to reverse in S/4HANA the document that was posted in the previous system(i.e. ERP/ECC): error FAA_POST 101 "You cannot reverse the document; see long text" is raised.
  • Error message text explains to "Post a backed out posting document manually instead.": what does it mean?
