2997789 - Error: 'Type mismatch. The object is not a repository object.' when opening, or saving an object in the Business View Manager

Symptom

  • Unable to save objects to the respository.
  • Error in Business View Manager after applying an update.
  • When trying to modify, or open a repository object in Business View Manager, it fails with an error.
  • When attempting to open, or save a Data Connection, a Data Foundation, a Business Element, a Business View, or a List of Values, the Business View Manager fail with the error:     

        "Type mismatch. The object is not a repository object."
