  • SAP ASE server shuts down after the following errors are received in the ASE errorlog :

    Current process (0x37470238) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
    Address 0x0x0000000001e21687 (mem__validate_assign+0xa7), siginfo (code, address) = (128, 0x(nil))

    or

    Address 0x0x00000000015384a1 (mem_pageallocate+0x2d1), siginfo (code, address) = (128, 0x(nil))

    followed by

    Spinlocks held by kpid 1896940634
    Spinlock eresourcep->erprocelc_spin ....
  • The accompanying stacktrace references functions that can include:
