2999960 - Sales Quote not Automatically Rejected

When you creation a New Version of an existing Sales Quote, you expected that the system would automatically reject/complete the Master Quote.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Select the Sales Quotes view.
3. Search for the ID ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Master Quote).

The system returns two Open Sales Quotes. The Master Quote and the New Version.

As per the blog How to create version of a sales quote, the system does not complete the older quote, since "at the end, the customer will decide which of the sales quotes he will accept and close the deal."

This is the system expected behavior. 

In regards to the completion or auto rejection of the document, this has to be performed manually, by performing the following steps:

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Select the Sales Quotes view.
3. Select ID ABC.
4. Click Actions.
5. Click Reject.
6. Enter a Cancellation Reason.
7. Click OK

Now the will be Rejected and the status will change to Completed.
