3000282 - Decoding of Bar Code Failed Error During Execution of webservice SiteLogisticsTaskBundleMaintainRequest

Symptom

During execution of webservice 'SiteLogisticsTaskBundleMaintainRequest' for PutAway Task you will encounter the below error

Decoding of Bar Code Failed.

Reproducing the Issue

Execute the Request XML for SiteLogisticsTaskBundleMaintainRequest

Cause

Error occurs despite the configuration of Automatic Configuration.

The issue is due to the missing configuration of the Application Identifiers for Barcode: Z_EAN128_O.

There is no Standard Identifier for a Product, which is 91 and thus the decoding does not take place.

Resolution

To maintain the missing Application Identifiers follow the below steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter

2. Go to Overview view.

3. Select Configuration Element : Bar Code Type UCC/EAN 128

4. For Bar Code Type: Z_EAN128_O you should maintain the standard Application Identifier 91 and other missing identifiers.
