3001759 - Error ‘java.net.SocketTimeoutException’ in SOAP 1.x Receiver Adapter in combination with HTTP 500 Internal Server Error – Cloud Platform Integration

Outbound messages sent via the SOAP 1.x receiver adapter fail with a java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out.

This exception is raised after a successful TCP connection is established with the remote server. The failure occursbecause the server did not return a SOAP response before the client-side socket read timeout was exceeded.

The error in the message processing log is:

org.apache.cxf.interceptor.Fault: Could not send Message., cause: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
