Symptom

For a custom MDF workflow, how to display 'Decline' or 'Sendback' button in Workflow Details page

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Metadata Framework (MDF)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. User initiates a workflow
  2. approver goes to Workflow Details page to check buttons display at the bottom of the workflow

Cause

Display "Decline" or "Sendback" button in Workflow Details page depends on the "Pending Data" settings of this custom MDF object.

  • If the pending data=Yes, the Workflow Details page will display "Sendback" button.
  • If the pending data=No, instead of "Sendback" button, "Decline" button will display in Workflow Details page.

Resolution

Go to custom MDF object of this workflow, set Pending Data=YES or No to enable the corresponding button in Workflow Details page.
