Symptom
In a Follow-Up Sales Quote created from a Ticket (or from Sales Quotes): Requested Date is not entered as per Date Profile settings in the BC Fine Tuning. The Date Profile is for example set for 30 days.
Environment
SAP Sales Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
Example: Sales Quote creation from a Ticket
- Go to the Service work centre.
- Go to the Tickets view.
- Open a ticket with Requested End in the future.
- Facet: Related Items.
- Click More > Sales Quote.
- Result: The Sales Quote Requested Date is the same as the Ticket Requested End date.
Cause
There are two scenarios when calculating the Requested date for the Sales Order created as a Follow-Up:
When the Requested date of the Ticket is today's date or in the future, then the Requested date of the Sales Order will be same as the Requested date of the Sales Quote.
When the Requested date of the Ticket is in the Past, then the Requested date of the Sales Order will be calculated based on settings you have maintained for Sales Quotes in Fine Tuning activity 'Date Profiles' in the Business Configuration work center.
Resolution
This is the system behaviour.
