3002415 - Application Error while submiting Personal data collection with Time Profile fields enabled

Symptom

Application error when candidate tries to submit Personal data collection.

Reproducing the Issue

Pre-requisites:

  • Time profile fields are enabled in Onboarding pages (New hire Data review or Personal Data collection)
  • Time profile business rule is set on Job Info entity, which would be executed on Onboarding pages

Steps to reproduce:

  1. New Hire Date Review completed
  2. Login as Candidate/Onboardee to complete the Personal Data collection step
  3. Enter all details and try to submit

Cause

  • Time profile fields are enabled from Manager or External Onboarding user permission Role
  • Time profile business rule is configured in Job Info entity executed on Onboarding pages

Resolution

Time profile fields are not supported in Personal Data collection step. Please refer to guide for details.


Check points below:

  1. Time Profile fields permission need to be removed from permission role of user who performed New Hire Data Review.
  2. If there are any Time profile rule set on Job info entity, set it Onboarding contest to No
  3. Time profile fields must be set as Non Mandatory in Main Succession data model from Manage Business Configuration. 


Note: Onboarding contest to No/Yes only works to onSave/onPostSave Rule.


In case customer uses onChange rules

  1. Add an onSave Rule to JobInfo entity as attached screenshot.
  2. Set the Rule Context of this rule to Yes only for Onboarding.
  3. Set null value for all enabled Time Profile fields. Only the fields enabled would appear on Rules. All Time Profile fields are below:
  • TIME_RECORDING_VARIANT
  • HOLIDAY_CALENDAR_CODE
  • TIME_TYPE_PROFILE_CODE
  • WORKSCHEDULE_CODE
  • DYNAMIC_BREAK_CONFIG_CODE
  • DEFAULT_OVERTIME_COMP_VARIANT
  • TIME_RECORDING_PROFILE_CODE
  • TIME_REC_ADMISSIBILITY_CODE
  • TIME_EVENT_TYPE_GROUP_ID
  • TIME_ACCOUNT_PROFILE_CODE
