Symptom

Running IQ backup with third-party libraries, returns error

(DBA)> BACKUP DATABASE FULL TO 'libname::<directory>/backup_file.gz::000'

Could not execute statement.
Could not execute backup/restore DLL (BKUP_OPEN) entry point
SQLCODE=-692, ODBC 3 State="HY000"
