Symptom

While configuring the SSCUI's for Finance area and the Sub application area Statutory Reporting Tax below message appears:

You are not authorized to use this function.

For example, SSCUI ID 103887 (step name: Message Control in Tax Area).

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Your Solution
  2. Configure Your Solution
  3. Application Area: Finance
  4. Sub Application Area: Statutory Reporting Tax
  5. Step Name: Message Control in Tax Area (SSCUI ID 103887)

Cause

 Missing authorization.

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, please add the business catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LDN_FIN_TAX_PC  to the business role BR_BPC_EXPERT assigned to your user.
