Restriction on movement type cannot work for movement type 701.

For the physical inventory process (physical inventory documents) the relevant restrictions are on plant level and should not be affected by movement types.

The restriction of movement types are relevant for material documents. For example the MIGO 'Post Goods Receipt' could be used for several processes. This can be restricted via the movement types.

Standard movement type 70x are related to the physical inventory process.

If the access should be controlled it can be done from app level, if business catalog 'SAP_PRC_BC_IM_PI_MGMT_MC' is not assigned to user then physical inventory related movement cannot be posted.
