3004356 - Environment list is blank when creating a model using BPC Live Data Connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• When creating a live connection to a BPC embedded environment the environment list is empty.
• The SAP KBA 2802427  did not help.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.XX

1. From the () Main Menu, select  Create   Model.
2. Select Get data from a datasource  
3. Under Connect to live data, select Live Data Selection.
4. In the popup, select SAP BPC as the System Type and select your Live Data connection.
5. Establish BPC Live Connection by providing the information for System Type, Connection.
6. When it comes to BPC Environment field the list is empty!

The reason was: Google Chrome rolled out an incompatible change regarding the “SameSite” cookie attribute on Feb 17, 2020. Cross-domain browser scenarios were critically affected.
