3004857 - Replication Server cannot connect directly to a non-Sybase data server - SAP RS

Symptom

  • Connect to target oracle instance manually via connection from replication server and got error below.

connect to ORA_DS.ora_inst

Msg 13045, Level 12, State 0:
Server '<oracle server name>':
Failed to connect to server 'ORA_DS' as user 'ORA_INST_MAINT'. See CT-Lib and/or server error messages for more information.

  •  No error in the replication server error log.
