3005343 - How to consume public Node.js modules when there is no internet connection on SAP Web IDE for HANA

Symptom

The public NPM registry includes SAP Node.js modules for use by application developers as well as third-party Node modules. However, if the host where the SAP Web IDE for HANA / XSA is running does not have internet access due to security reasons, for example, it will not be able to reach the public registry to download Node modules and the build of applications will fail.

In this case, it is necessary to download the modules from the NPM registry and place them in the Web IDE cache storage.

Note: latest versions of @sap modules are always delivered with the latest Web IDE patches.
