3005628 - New Hire tasks are not appearing or were not triggered to the Manager - Onboarding

After completing New Hire Data Review Step, the following New Hire Tasks are not visible or were not triggered for the Manager:

• Write Welcome message
• Assign a buddy to New Hires
• Recommend People for New Hires
• Prepare for New Hire's Day1

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Initiate onboarding for the candidate
2. Complete the New Hire Data Review Step
3. New Hire Tasks to be triggered based on the Process Variant Manager
4. Proxy as the Hiring Manager or the User responsible to carry out the tasks and check the onboarding dashboard
5. Tasks are not visible or were not triggered

• Cause 1: Missing permissions in the Role
• Cause 2: If Prepare for day one lists are configured in Manage Onboarding/Offboarding Tasks then the subsequent "Select What-To-Bring Configuration" rule maybe incorrect or unassigned

Cause 1:

1. Go Manage Permission Role and open the role assigned to the Manager
2. Make sure that for the respective Tasks you have the following permissions assigned to the Role:
   • Write Welcome message
     • Onboarding Program   
     • Message Task
   • Assign a buddy to New Hires
     • Buddy Task   
   • Recommend People for New Hires
     • Permission: Recommended People Task
   • Prepare for New Hire's Day1
     • Permission: Configuration for Prepare for Day One Task    

Cause 2:

1. Go to Configure Business Rules and search for "Select What-To-Bring Configuration" (ONB_WhatToBring) under scenario
2. Ensure that only one rule is maintained, kindly delete the additional rule, if it's present
3. The remaining rule should be assigned or the tasks will not get triggered
