3006724 - Job Alerts feature unavailable when using two Career Sites Simultaneously (Custom + Recruiting Marketing) - Recruiting Marketing

The candidates are unable to set up job alerts since there was a redirection from RMK into a custom career site.

The DNS setup for the URL in use (jobs.1234.com, etc.) is not pointing to the RMK server URL 1234.jobs2web.com, it's pointing to another custom career site. This DNS redirection is not making the RMK site available and it's causing the problem.

Job Alerts once RMK is implemented is owned and sent by RMK. If the DNS configuration is not pointing to the RMK site allocation (1234.jobs2web.com), then the RMK site will never be accessible, because the site will always be redirected.

If there is a requirement to use this redirection or use a custom career site, the best approach is to use the Career Site Builder functionality to use Custom Plugins or Javascript codes to do this redirect and not make the RMK site unavailable. More details on how this can be done and how a custom plugin can be configured will be better explained and addressed by SAP Professional Services and/or an implementation partner as this is a customization.
