3007128 - How to exclude costs from App Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Centers

With App Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Centers, you can calculate the actual cost rates. However, sometimes you would like to exclude some costs from the calculation. You don't know how to handle it.

Execute App App Actual Cost Rate Calculation.

The calculation methods and control for actual cost rate is determined by Splitting Structure. However, currently the SSCUI for Splitting Structure is not open to customer.

Regarding current actual cost rate calculation logic, it's explained in KBA 2935116.
From CE2008, we have delivered new standard content to include another calculation method -> No Splitting.

For the current Splitting Structure configuration detail, please check KBA 2916489.
The Assignments from YA1 to YA7 are all with "Activity Quantity" method.
Only Assignment YA8 is with method "No Splitting".
So if you want to exclude costs from the calculation, please consider to make configuration on Assignment YA8.
