3007790 - Error appears "Requesting of stock transfer proposal number not possible" when trying to release Stock Transfer Proposal

Symptom

You are trying to release Stock transfer proposal KLM for Product DEF/KM, error appears. *KLM refers to Stock transfer proposal number, *DEF refers to Product Id, *KM refers to planning area.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Supply Planning Work Center
  2. Go to Products View
  3. Select Open Product DEF/KM Planning Area
  4. Select  Stock transfer proposal KLM
  5. Select Release
  6. Error appears

Requesting of stock transfer proposal number KLM not possible

Cause

The Location KM is the Ship-to location or the Planning area for the stock transfer proposal for which ship-to Location is not enabled.

Resolution

Kindly follow the below steps to resolve the issue.

  1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data Work Center
  2. Navigate to Locations View
  3. Search for Location KM
  4. Select Edit
  5. Navigate to General Tab
  6. Under roles, Enable ship-to Location 
  7. Select Save
