What controls the visibility of the 'Add Successor' icon in the Succession Org Chart?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Succession and Development
Reproducing the Issue
1. Navigate to the Succession Org Chart.
2. See that some nodes have an 'Add Successor' icon while others do not.
3. Select the 'Add Successor' icon.
4. The Position Card opens up.
Cause
The 'Add Successor' icon appears on all nodes of the Succession Org Chart for which there is no Successors visible to the business user.
It will not appear on the nodes which have Successor visible to the business user.
Resolution
The 'Add Successor' icon is not dynamically generated will appear on the Succession Org Chart even if the business user does not have Succession Planning permission.
It cannot be hidden or removed from the system as it is hardcoded.
