3007991 - Error using hire date correction - Employee Central

When trying to set a new hire date for employees the following error occurs: 

This record was not saved because there were errors in other records for <user id>

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

There is rule triggering error message preventing to save the new records with the new hire/start dates.

Please consider trigger a rule trace when performing the Hire Date Correction to check what rule is triggering the error message then you can edit the rule or change employee data to match the rule conditions.
