3008144 - Deployment from FLP application fails and stays at "Stopped" status

When trying to deploy a developed FLP application in SAP Business Application Studio, it fails and stays at "STOPPED" status.

In the logs, you can find similar entries to the below:

• cf deploy command result.txt:
  Executing task "deploy" on application "<project_name>-flp"...
  Execution of task "deploy" on application "<project_name>-flp" failed.
  Download the application logs via the dmol command and check them for more information.
  A step of the process has failed. Retrying it may solve the issue.
  Process failed.

• <project_name>-flp.log:
  Deployment of site content to persistency failed [Deployment Id:none] , Error: Deploy to portal service failed, got status = 500, data: Failed to deploy site
  ...
  Error: "Failed to import site, tenantId: xxx
  ...
  undefined Error : \"Failed to store site: 'Failed to store entities - [\\\\n' +\\n  \\\"  'entity: <project_name>-group of type: group does not match the schema
