Some jobs are showing as Skipped in Job Status.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Scheduled Job Manager > Job Monitor
- Find some job status displays as "Skipped"
Cause
- The required file is not properly maintained on the SFTP server before the SFTP-related job runs (File Not Found).
- The job does not have a valid job owner.
Resolution
Ensure the required file exists on the SFTP server before the job runs.
Assign a valid job owner to the job.
Job details and the exact cause can be found in Provisioning. Access to Provisioning is limited to SAP Support and authorized partners.
Note:
There is no retry mechanism for jobs with a Skipped status. Retrying such jobs has a high probability of failure, so retries are disabled to save system resources.
