3008986 - After replacing an Excel file in BI LaunchPad, user can't use it anymore in Web Intelligence to create or change source.

Symptom

Atfer replacing an Excel file in BI LaunchPad, user can't use it anymore as Data Source in Web Intelligence:

  • can't create a new data Provider by selecting it as Data Source
  • can't select it on "Query Properies->Source Path" for existing Web Intelligence document based on original Excel file, because the Excel file is not visible/present on files list.
