3009285 - Permission list empty error in Employee Central Effective Dated Entities for OnboardingExternalUser Permission Role - Onboarding

When trying to access the Employee Central Effective Dated Entities for the OnboardingExternalUser Permission Role, the user either:

• Receives the following error: "Assertion failed: Permission list empty error is thrown and the list is blank.".
• See a blank screen.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Login to the instance
2. Go to Manage Permission Role
3. Select OnboardingExternalUser role
4. Click on Edit button
5. Select Employee Central Effective Dated Entities
6. Following error is thrown: Assertion failed. Permission list empty / No permissions are displayed.

This is normally a Sync delay after Onboarding is enabled in provisioning or OnboardingExternalUser is created.

Please run the following jobs:

• Provisioning > Manage Schedule Jobs > MDF Object Definition To DB SYNC > Run it Now
• Provisioning > Company Settings > Refresh RBP Permission Configuration > Refresh
• SuccessFactors (UI) > OData API Metadata Refresh and Export > Cache > Refresh

As access to Provisioning might not be granted to customer/end user, please contact your Implementation Partner to perform such actions in Provisioning side.
